About Stand Upright Rebooted:
One of the best roguelike games under $15 out there, and this is $1. I went into this expecting maybe 4 hours of gameplay before getting bored, which would still be a deal. but I keep coming back. Also, once everything is unlocked it becomes a great “mindless but still fun as hell” late night game when you’re too tired to play anything but still want to try new strategies. FINAL RELEASE UPDATE: There was an update on this review before, about a half a year into early access. This review was very genuine, and had a lot of scathing critique from someone who holds an unreasonable amount of love for one of the most passionate series that should no longer be passed off. This is an update for the big release of this game, and I am so, so happy to finally write this. This game has evolved over the entire last year to become the best rhythm game on all of steam, and quite possibly one of the best rhythm games ever released to the home market. The polish is absolutely insane, the song list is unmatched by pretty much any other franchise out there outside of the franchise it ironically got sued to for being a bootleg of many moons ago. The amount of extra content, and fulfillment/brilliant execution of the games original intention of multiplayer has turned one of the most genuine rocky launch games I’ve ever seen (2k people blowing a discord server launched the night of release over 14 hours with zero moderation into getting review bombed for unplayable servers that required connection to play) into one of the greatest video game comeback stories most people will never have witnessed.
