About Deepwoken:
I enjoy this game quite a bit since I enjoy the ability of just exploring the islands and after playing this game for numerous hours I only just realised that there is an end-game. I like the fact that you have to stumble onto things and that the game never really pushes you in any direction. Which means that there’s a lot to do and no real rush to complete anything, you can focus on just exploration and then choose when you want to start finishing the objectives to finish the game. There are some issues though one of them being is that this game has been in early access for years and the development progress is very slow and clunky. There are also some bugs and glitches that have been there for sometime (1-2 years) and have yet to be removed. There is also the issue of if you place an item down you either have to like it or else destroy it and loose half of the resources used to make it. This can cause particular issues when it comes to crafting on the raft since placing objects on the raft has to be perfectly timed to have it in the correct position due to the current of the waves. Also the aiming system in the game is very hit or miss since an animal could be right in-front of you but somehow your unable to hit it due to the hit box being finicky. Another thing to add is that the game itself is visually stunning and quite relaxing. However, even with the graphics settings on normal my pc still heats up a lot so I wouldn’t really recommend this game to someone that has a low-end pc.
